1. Determine suitable location and mounting
2. When scale arrives on site install load cells and check weights – approx. 30minutes
3. Lift scale into place
4. Run admixture charge pipes from pumps to scale charge pipes
5. Run discharge pipes from discharge funnels to discharge point
6. Run 10mm airline from plant air supply, connect to solenoids on scale
7. Run fresh water supply line, connect to flush system
8. Batch Computer Technician
8.1. Run a 0.5mm by 4 core screened load cell cable from each load cell junction box to scale
indicator
8.2. Run a 10 – 18 (Depending on functionality selected) by 1 mm multi-core cable from control
junction to batch computer junction box or substation
8.3. Install the following on the manual batch panel for:
8.3.1. Light (Typically Red) – Valve open indicator
8.3.2. Manual discharge button
8.3.3. Manual flush button
9. Scale Calibration Company
9.1. Calibrate scale
10. Change mix designs (volume to mass include SG) and units of batch-on-batch computer.
